Breaking Benjamin are back with a vengeance. It has been six years since the Pennsylvanian band released their successful Dear Agony album. During the long hiatus, the band had been dogged by illness and infighting, the band has survived, but only just. Benjamin Burnley is the only original member left. The band’s new album, Dark Before Dawn, was released late last month and it has already done big business, debuting at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 album charts. To promote their new album, the band performed an acoustic cover of “Prison Sex” by TOOL live at HardDrive Radio. The cover has received much praise and it seems that the new iteration of Breaking Benjamin, just might be better than the last.
