Master Peace has just released a new single called “Overdrive” to start the year 2021! “Overdrive” is a languorous, guitar-driven song, Peace is inspired by his youth and the music he listened to as a child.
He commented on the track by saying, “This song represents my younger years and what I used to listen to. It comes from a feeling of wanting to relive my youth again and perhaps do it in a different way”.
With his new track, Master Peace has also released a music video directed by Sahra Zadat.
The British emerging artist released his first EP last year Love Bites, Peace wanted this project to create common moments and songs that leave an imprint on pop culture, saying, “I loved Justin Timberlake’s FutureSex/LoveSounds – it just spoke to me when I was a kid. I wanted this record to make people feel the same way. These songs should just make you feel good.”
Peace has been supported by the likes of Annie Mac, Jack Saunders, Jamz Superova, BBC London, Apple Music with Zane Lowe and even Elton John to accelerate his musical career.
He has also been able to count on the press such as Dazed, NME, Clash, DIY, Notion, Highsnobiety and many others to put him forward!
