East-London emerging artist Olivia Dean has released her new single “The Hardest Part” as part of her latest EP What Am I Gonna Do On Sundays, that has just come out.
The singer has just been named one of Vevo’s ‘Artists to Watch’ in 2021. This list is very prestigious, and its alumni include superstar names such as Billie Eilish, Sam Smith, Lewis Capaldi, James Bay, Little Simz and Alessia Cara, to only name them.
Talking about the artist, Carl Young, Head of Music and Talent, EU at Vevo, explains: “Olivia Dean’s warming soulful voice is going to be something I predict we’ll be hearing a lot more next year and beyond.
There’s a real truth and honesty to Olivia’s songwriting, drawing upon personal experiences, wrapped up with soulful joy and delivered with her distinct humorous charm. She’s an incredible artist and I’m delighted to have her included in our DSCVR Artists To Watch 2021 campaign.”
While the singer’s new EP What Am I Gonna Do On Sundays may come from a difficult year, it’s a lasting testament to her endearing storytelling, the heartfelt-yet-humble disclosure that is guaranteed to make her a star.
Olivia Dean is fast becoming an artist who knows exactly how to draw a silver lining from even the darkest of clouds, and that shows in the What Am I Gonna Do On Sundays EP.
