Brockhampton have announced a North American tour starting this autumn in support of their new album Ginger. The band will be accompanied by UK rapper Slowthai.
Brockhampton’s fourth American tour, named ‘Heaven Belongs To You’ after their collaboration with the Northampton rapper, will begin on October 26 in Vancouver and end on December 13 in Los Angeles.
The tour announcement dropped at the same time as the music video for “Heaven Belongs To You”, directed by Brockhampton’s frontman, Kevin Abstract. It focuses on Slowthai, who raps all the lines on the 1.5 minute long track about faith and mental health.
Last week, the British rapper revealed he wouldn’t support Liam Gallagher on his sold-out UK arena tour starting in November. It turns out the Nothing Great About Britain rapper had other touring plans for the Autumn.
Even though Slowthai pulled out of his joint tour with the former Oasis frontman, there seem to be no hard feelings between the two. In response to the rapper’s announcement, Gallagher tweeted: “I still love ya homeboy good luck in the USA”.
Ginger, Brockhampton’s fifth studio album since 2017, came out on August 23, following last year’s Iridescence. It includes previously unveiled singles, such as “No Halo”, “Boy Bye”, “I Been Born Again” and “If You Prey Right”.
