Brooke Candy tries again: after a streak of (rightfully?) unsuccessful singles, the Californian rapper-turned-popstar is back with a new single.
“Paper Or Plastic” is the newest single off Candy’s upcoming debut album, Daddy Issues, and unfortunately it fails in creating any sort of hype behind the project. As a matter of fact, the track is a bland attempt at crafting a successful pop mid tempo à-la Sia or Britney Spears. Instead of reaching its goal though, the song goes nowhere and it just sounds like a boring, over-autotuned, amateurish work.
At this point, Brooke Candy should probably go back to the aggressive hip hop she started with. At least that was incisive.
