Spike TV have hired Bryan Singer to develop World War III. The series has been created and written by the Benay Brothers, who will also produce. Singer will serve as executive producer. World War III will begin with worldwide conflict igniting, as the delicate geopolitical climate is thrown off balance. The series will follow one man who sparks a resistance in the American Heartlands, which have become occupied territory. In an effort to overcome his troubled past, he embarks on a mission to enlist ordinary citizens to become war heroes.
