Canadian Musician JP Saxe Returns With ‘I Don’t Miss You’

Multi-platinum GRAMMY® nominated singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist JP Saxe has released his new song, “I Don’t Miss You,” via Arista Records/Sony Music Entertainment.

The captivating track, produced by 2x GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Malay and featuring co-writing and guitar by John Mayer, serves as the lead single from Saxe’s highly anticipated upcoming album, set for release later this year.

The intriguing concept of “I Don’t Miss You” invites fans into various virtual ‘rooms,’ representing ways we lie to ourselves and distract ourselves through social media, work, drugs/alcohol, numbness/sleep, and sex.

Saxe explains that the song is about trying to lie to himself about his feelings, detailing how he distracts and compartmentalizes them, and ultimately loses to them.

Over the past year, Saxe has released three critically acclaimed singles, including “When You Think Of Me,” “The Good Parts,” and “Moderación (Con Camilo),” the latter featuring five-time Latin GRAMMY® winner and two-time GRAMMY® nominated Colombian singer-songwriter, musician, and producer, Camilo.

Saxe is set to return as the opener for John Mayer’s groundbreaking Solo Acoustic Arena Tour’s fall leg, after an incredibly successful winter/spring east coast run.

The tour will kick off with an encore performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City on October 3rd and conclude at the iconic Kia Forum in Los Angeles in November.
