A brand new collaboration is out now, which sees international sports brand Puma teaming up with actress, activist and model star Cara Delevingne to co-create their new ‘Exhale’ collection. The collection is out now in selected stores and on Puma’s website.
This collection is quite special and new for the brand, it is a full collection created with eco-conscious and eco-friendly materials. As we all know, fast fashion has been destroying the planet for the past two decades, but this collection is a step forward for not only the planet but also to show international brands that it is possible.
The collection has items that can contain over 70% of recycled polyester to avoid emissions afterwards. Regarding the color palette, we are on a full neutral collection, light, dark browns, cream color, and more. The collection seems to be made to be connected with the earth due to the colors.
Puma is an international brand that is getting more and more committed to the environment, to make their brand more eco-friendly and really use recycled materials and so is Cara, so when the brand approached her for a new collaboration, she was very excited to be part of the project.
Being herself a yoga lover and an activist, it was more than one reason to co-create the collection, and I quote Cara: “Yoga is one of my biggest passions, it has impacted my life in such a positive way. When PUMA approached me about partnering to create a yoga line. I was thrilled. We both are very focused on the environment, that is why it was important to design a collection with minimal impact“.
The brand has also partnered with First Climate, a company that uses green energy, carbon neutrality, and more.
We can only imagine that this collaboration will inspire others and create more and more sustainable clothes. You can shop the collection on the Puma website and selected stores now.
