Caribou’s Dan Snaith has just shared his new track as Daphni called “Usha”. Snaith is a Canadian musician and recording artist who has performed under the stage names Caribou, Manitoba and Daphni. He originally began under the name Manitoba but changed after he was threatened with a lawsuit by Richard “Handsome Dick” Manitoba. His latest track “Usha” is an edit of Indian artist Usha Uthup’s “Main Gul Badan” and Alex Israel’s “Colugo”. Snaith commented on Twitter about his edit saying, “I’m not claiming authorial input, please support the original tracks / artists”. Check out “Usha” below.
