Before The Libertines release their first new material since 2004, singer-guitarist Carl Barât has his project with internet sourced band The Jackals to release. Let It Reign will be released on February 16, and “A Storm Is Coming” is the second single to be dropped from the LP after Glory Days came out in September. The new track has a raw, British rock sound with Carl Barât’s distinctive vocal style singing throughout. The sound does have a very dated feel about it however, “A Storm Is Coming” would have felt very at home in the mid to early 2000’s but not so much now. Have a listen to the new single below.
