The 50th Annual CMA Awards return later this year for what hopes to be one of country music’s greatest nights of all time. The awards show enters its 50th year and promises to showcase the impeccable talent hailing from Nashville, a.k.a. Music City. To further the excitement, two of country music’s biggest names are returning to host the night.
The instantly-recognisable duo of Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood aren’t afraid to provide humour that adds a sort of charm to the annual awards show. They mix dialogue with musical elements and often poke fun at the other stars, playfully of course!
Despite the show being months away, Paisley’s comedic side has already begun. He recently tweeted: “Last year they let me pull my pants down on national tv, wonder what they will let me do this year @carrieunderwood?”.
To fuel the fire, watch a promo from 2015 which features several snippets of Paisley and Underwood together:
The 50th Annual CMA Awards Show airs Wednesday, November 2 on ABC.
