The French actress Catherine Deneuve, who has appeared in more than 120 movies during her long career, started when she was just fourteen years old, will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Antalya Film Festival, the most important film festival held in Turkey.
The festival, which will start on November 29, will pay a tribute to Deneuve by screening three of her movies during the opening, namely her latest film The Brand New Testament, by Jaco Val Dormael, 1963 The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, by Jaques Demi, and 1992 Indochine, by Regis Wargnier.
The Antalya Film Festival will run until the 6th of December in Antalya, one of the largest and most visited town in Turkey, which also held the 2015 G-20 summit a few days ago.
