Naturally, with the snappy animalistic sound of “AH” reaching our ears, Chance The Rapper is back. This new track is entitled “Angels” and although it features Westside Chicago rapper Saba, this marks Chano‘s first release of solo material for years. This is following his recent collaborations with The Social Experiment on Surf, and with Lil B with their Free (Based Freestyles Mixtape).
This track was debuted on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert a couple of days ago. Making light-hearted jokes about partnering up with the chat-show host for a secret collaboration, Chano also truthfully admits he’s not done working with fellow musicians. He then performs “Angels” on stage with Saba, against a backdrop a nights sky being taken up by sun in the shape of a tiger’s face surrounded by sparkling stars.
