‘Chip$’ From Detroit Rap Collective Clear Soul Forces Is Out Now! | Music News

Detroit rappers Clear Soul Forces, made up of Noveliss, Ilajide, L.A.Z and Emile Vincent have just released their new single “Chip$”! They got together for ForcesWithUs, which will be the fifth and unfortunately the last album of the band.

The band was born in 2009, after a studio session where everyone came to record a song. They both found themselves doing some rhymes for Royce Da 5’9″, and decided to form a band together. They started to make themselves known in 2010, and in 2011, they shot the first video clip for the “Gon Get Em” sound of their Departure EP, and performed in many festivals.

At the end of 2011, the band recorded their album Detroit Revolution(s) in one month, influenced by groups like J Dilla and Slum Village. Shortly after, they were selected by Redbull to be part of their Soundstage program. In 2012, they produced the video of their single “Get No Better“, which has been seen more than 14 million times.

To date, each member of the band has released a solo album but they got together one last time to prepare their last album as a group.”Chip$”, which will be part of this album, was produced by Ilajide, like many of their songs. It’s available on all streaming platforms and all major digital retailers.
