The cast of director Tate Taylor’s upcoming adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ novel The Girl on the Train is really starting to come together as Variety reports that Chris Evans and Jared Leto are in talks to join the film.
The film already has Emily Blunt as its star and recently had Rebecca Ferguson join the cast too. The Girl On The Train spent 20 weeks at the top of the UK hardback chart, which is the longest that any book has ever held the top spot. It focuses on the story of a woman disillusioned with her life, who takes to fantasising on train journeys about a seemingly idyllic couple that lives in a house that she passes every day. Things aren’t quite as they seem though, and soon she becomes embroiled in a mystery that concerns them. This will be Taylor’s third film as director, and it will be written by Erin Cressida Wilson.
