Chris Evans To Star In Antoine Fuqua’s Sci-Fi Movie ‘Infinite’ | Film News

Chris Evans is the latest MCU alumni to set up a project for a potential post-superhero career. The Captain America actor is in talks to star in the sci-fi film Infinite, which is set to be helmed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Magnificent Seven).

The film will be based on D. Eric Maikranz‘s novel, The Reincarnationist Papers. The plot revolves around a man haunted by memories of his two past lives. He discovers that there is a centuries-old society of other humans who also remember their own past lives, and who use their abilities to affect change throughout history.

John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) and Ian Shorr (Trenches) have penned the script, while Transformers veteran Lorenzo di Bonaventura will produce the film.

This is the latest intriguing project that Evans has signed on for. With many expecting Avengers: Endgame to be his final role as Captain America, he has already set up an exciting post-Avengers career if that is indeed the case. He recently filmed a role in Rian Johnson‘s murder mystery, Knives Out, and will also re-team with Tom Holland for the Netflix adaptation of The Devil All The Time.

Evans has been public regarding his desire to branch out and try new things in his career, and thus far it seems like he is making some exciting choices. However, there’s no word yet on when Infinite will begin filming. Let’s hope it can live up to its fascinating premise.
