A memorable moment of the Billboard Music Awards was when Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato joined forces to perform their empowering new single “Fall In Line” with an amazing vocal performance.
“Fall In Line” is an empowering anthem about the rights of women to do what they want with their own bodies and be more confident than ever, pursue their dreams and not fall into the social expectations. This song is the third single from Christina Aguilera upcoming album titled Liberation and follows the ideology of the #MeToo movement that fights against the sexual harassment and assault.
In the performance, Xtina sings passionately between a marching military line and as Demi appears, they become swamped by military personnel yet manage to join forces and vocals in their rousing performance. Both sporting a black leather look, Christina’s blonde hair and Demi black hair looks to be simulating an eclipse, similar to the one on screen behind them.
By the end of the performance, the screen shows images of two little girls, one with blonde hair like Xtina and other with black hair like Demi, being separated by shadowed men.
