Kurt Cobain died twenty-one years ago, but he is still missed dearly. His widow, Courtney Love, posted two photos of herself, Cobain, and their daughter Frances on Instagram, soon after Frances turned twenty-three on August 18. The captions read: “My greatest love and our precious Bean” and “Makes me feel so sad. Our baby is all grown up now. Jesus Kurt look at her face, what on earth were you thinking..!?!? God I miss you, we all miss you” respectively. Frances was a few months shy of two before her father’s death.
This year has already given family, friends, and fans ample opportunity to remember Cobain, what with the release of Montage of Heck, unreleased Nirvana footage, post-Nirvana recordings, home movies and more. He may be gone physically, but his memory continues to thrive in the hearts of many.
