The singer, songwriter and producer Danniella Dee released a new single “Stutter” from her debut EP on May 12, 2023, a neo/retro soul based song influence by Marvin Gaye’s “I Want You”.
“Stutter” is a sensual song, reinforcing the squeaky presence to highlight the groove and make the single even more irresistible and contains a touch specific to the British DnB.
Having as father, an artist and DJ reggae, the composer bathed in the music since her childhood. In her youth, Daniella was a member of the cathedral choir and later in her teens joined a band, thanks to which she deepen her singer and keyboardist skills, forging her musical identity, inspired by different styles.
Eager to transcribe the most authentic sound and capture the singularity of her art, the singer-songwriter launched her solo career in 2019 with the single “I Just Wanna…” which was frequently played on BBC R1 & BBC 1Xtra.
Later on, after scrupulously observing numerous artists, Danniella bonded with a Coventry-native band. Together, they performed at various festivals as The Big Feastival & Godiva Festival in 2022.
Together, they will produce their light funky EP Reflections grooves, containing 5 songs and combining R&B and Soul, soak up with traditional and modern sound and poignant lyrics, shaping her beautiful and sophisticated, unique sound.
It is doubtless that more success awaits Danniella Dee to begin with the arrival of new singles that the artist promised to come later in 2023.
