Daniel Craig Has Not Quit James Bond For New US TV Show | Film News
Looks like Craig’s interest in playing the classic British spy will just have to die another day.
Despite earlier reports of Daniel Craig planning on quitting the role that made him a house hold name across the world, Craigs representatives have come out to say that the 47 year old actor from Chester, England has not quit the James Bond series as the titular character.
Earlier reports claimed that Craig was to retire from being James Bond to film the new television series Purity however his representative has come out to say that no decision has been made and its possible for Craig to perform in both as lead character in the new series and continue working towards his fifth Bond film.
Craig has been been playing James Bond for nearly 10 years now and has actually expressed frustration with the role, stating last year “I would rather slash my wrists rather than do it again”. However he had later rescinded his comments and claimed that he was allowed to change his mind to whether he would do return to the franchise or not.
