In a recent interview with The Guardian, De La Soul’s Pos talked about working with Damon Albarn on past records (they featured on “Feel Good Inc.”, “Superfast Jellyfish” and Albarn is set to feature on De La Soul’s forthcoming And The Anonymous Nobody).
The interview quite crucially talks about their role in the next Gorillaz project, where Pos says: “We actually sat down with Damon two weeks ago and he played us some of the new Gorillaz album, and it sounds amazing. He played us a track that he wants us to get off on his album so we got to get in the studio and put that down”.
