The Late Late Show’s Carpool Karoke keeps getting more and more interesting, as host James Corden is now saving a spot for multiple celebs at a time, who get in his carpool and sing along to their songs. After a very fun episode featuring Gwen Stefani, George Clooney and Julia Roberts, it was Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas’ turn to shake things up!
Proving to be a dynamic duo in singing, the two pop stars and best friends answered all of Corden’s weird questions; including their past, Miley Cyrus and purity rings! Lovato was a little more than chatty when it came to Jonas’ relationships and more reserved about her own, but he didn’t seem to mind.
What was even more amusing about this episode is how Corden invited his guests to form a band with him, as he usually does! In fact, he complained about musicians at first being positive to collaborate and then not responding. Well this time, Lovato and Jonas asked him to pass a test to see if he’d be right for their show.
And so, the three of them took to the street! Lovato performed her single “Confident”, as Jonas played the guitar and Corden sort of played… the drums! The outcome was not bad at all, but it was probably due to Lovato’s impeccable vocals. That’s ok, James; for now, you can remain our favourite host.
