American rock band, DIIV, have been releasing songs over the past couple of months, in anticipation for the release of their second studio album, Is The Is Are, that is scheduled to be released on the 5th of February and will be the follow up to their 2012 debut studio album, Oshin. In the same vein, DIIV are streaming a new official single, “Under The Sun”.
As Zachary Smith, the lead singer, has already stated, they are trying out non-traditional methods on this album, but the guitar sounds that have been regarded as DIIV’s official sound are still very much there.
