Disney Unveils The Full Poster For Live-Action ‘The Jungle Book’ | Film News
Books should not be judge by their cover, but can movies be judge by their posters? If yes, the upcoming 2016 Disney feature The Jungle Book has a promising future.
Earlier this week, Disney released three individual images from the CGI-live-action adaptation of the 1967 animated movie The Jungle Book. Today, the full new banner was unveiled on Twitter and it features an incredibly realistic version of the story’s major characters: Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera, Shere Khan, Kaa, and King Louie.
The movie, directed by Jon Favreau and written by Justin Marks, also boasts an extremely talented A-class cast, with actors such as Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Scarlett Johansson, and Christopher Walker among others. Nonetheless, the main star (and only real human character of the movie) of the feature is Neel Sethi, the Indian-American ten year-old actor who landed his breakout role as Mowgli.
The Jungle Book is scheduled to be released on April 15.
