Doctor Who star, Peter Capaldi has said he doesn’t want his co-star Jenna Coleman to leave the cult show. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Capaldi said, “will these be her last shows? I hope not“. He continued, praising Coleman, saying, “Jenna continues to deliver a beautifully nuanced, complex, and funny performance that marks her out as one of the best companions ever”. Capaldi and Coleman are set to be joined in the TARDIS by a number of guest stars this year including Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams. Doctor Who will return to BBC One this autumn and Peter Capaldi has said that the ninth season of Doctor Who will have “an epic sweep”.
