Earlier today (23rd Oct), Bedford boys Don Broco released a live cover of Ellie Goulding’s “On My Mind”, which is currently in the top ten chart. The pop rock band transformed Goulding’s edgy electronic vocals into a more laid back track with acoustic guitars, chilled harmonies and frontman Rob Damiani’s ever smooth but abrupt tone still leaving remnants of angst in the lyrics. It’s really refreshing to hear such a twist on a chart song.
This comes shortly after Don Broco earned their first spot on the Official Albums Top 10 when their second studio album Automatic reached Number 6.
