It’s a match made in heaven: Dr Dre has worked in partnership with Apple since 2014, when he sold his Beats Electronics range to them in a $3 billion deal. Now Apple hope to follow in the footsteps of Amazon and Netflix by launching its own television series, distributed through Apple Music; and Dre is being lined up to star as the lead in a new production called Vital Signs, alongside Sam Rockwell.
Dre will also be executive producing the 6 episode series, which focuses on a different emotion felt by his character each week. Dre is no stranger to acting though, having previously featured in Training Day and Set It Off.
