Dutch DJ And Producer Mike Williams Releases New Single ‘Living On Video’

A month after teasing it at Ultra Music Festival’s Jacked Stage, Dutch studio whiz Mike Williams has released his cover of Trans-X‘s 1983 hit “Living On Video“, featuring DTale.

Available in both an original mix and a club-focused VIP Mix, the cover has delighted the thousands of attendees packing the stage’s dancefloor.

The song masterfully balances a somber and mysterious tone, paying tribute to the original with its characteristic melody while reinventing it with a modern electronic flair, incorporating distorted voices and lively melodies.

Williams’ club version of one of the most talked-about songs from the 1980s brings it to the present club dancefloor, featuring a deeper bassline element for dancefloor appeal.

Since Mike has been performing various versions of this single in his sets for some time, its release has been eagerly anticipated. It follows his “Alone” duet with Afrojack from March of this year.

Dutch DJ Mike Williams made a big splash in 2017 when his collaboration with Felix Jaehn, “Feel Good“, soared to the top of radio, playlists, and streaming charts.

Gradually encircling the globe with his outstanding melodies, club bangers, and radio hits, Mike always begins a new song with the piano as a firm foundation.

He has had the opportunity to perform at some of the most prestigious events, including Mysteryland, Tomorrowland, Parookaville, Ultra Music Festival, and Tomorrowland.

After touring the US, Canada, Asia, or Europe, the amiable Dutchman can be found working at his Hilversum studio.

We can’t wait to see what the Dutchman will bring us next! Listen to the single below:
