Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson appears in a new image showing him in action while on the set for upcoming film San Andreas. The wrestler turned actor stars as the lead character in San Andreas playing a helicopter pilot. Johnson is an action film star known for using his wrestling background as The Rock to perform his own stunts.
The film is set after an earthquake in California wreaks havoc forcing Johnson’s character, who is part of an air rescue team, to save his daughter who is stranded in the area. The cast includes Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario and Art Parkinson and the film is directed by Brad Peyton. The film will be in US cinemas on June 5, 2015.
