Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Signs Up For Two ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth’ Films | Film News
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has signed up to star in two more sequel films for Journey to the Center of the Earth. The actor had previously starred in the second film of the series Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. He took over from Brendan Fraser who appeared in the first film. Johnson played the role of leading character Sean Anderson’s (Josh Hutcherson) step-father. The pair team up to save Sean’s grandfather who is stranded on the mysterious island. On their quest they meet a host of interesting characters and try to survive. Writers Chad and Cary Hayes will be writing the film script for the third and fourth film.
