Aparecium! Currently, news for Warner Bros upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has been rather scarce; with the last trailer being released over three months ago. However, movie star Eddie Redmayne has confirmed that he will premiere brand new footage of the magical movie at this years’ MTV Movie Awards.
Set in 1926, seventy years before Harry’s story begins, the movie follows protagonist Newt (Eddie Redmayne) throughout his adventures in New York City, where he’s aspiring to study the abundance of magical creatures within the wizarding world. His research is eventually published into a book, which becomes a renowned piece at Hogwarts. However, expect Newt to face some problems along the way, particularly ones involving a muggle named Jacob…
Alongside Redmayne, the film will also star Katherine Waterston (Tina Goldstein), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski) and Samantha Morton (Mary Lou). Return to the wizarding world on 18 November and catch the MTV Movie Awards on Monday 11 April at 8pm on MTV, you can also watch the latest trailer below:
