Following the great expectation generated since Spanish singer Edurne was chosen to represent Spain in the 2015 Eurovision Song Content, today she has released the visuals for her “Amanecer” single. The video was filmed with 3D technology, on location in Valencia and directed by David Arnal and German de la Hoz. The concept of the video involves an epic stage with some inspiration from The Lord Of The Rings or 300, and represents Edurne as a Hellenic warrior fighting for a missing love.
The song was released on the 1st of March and was written and produced by Thomas G:son, Tony Sánchez-Ohlsson and Peter Böstrom, the same team that produced 2012 Eurovision winning song “Euphoria”, performed by Loreen. Before Eurovision, Edurne has had a successful career as a singer, actress and presenter in her home country, with five albums already under her belt, and she hopes for a good position at Eurovision, with her inspirational and emotive new single, the video for which you can watch below. This year’s Eurovision takes place on the 23rd of May in Viena.
