Cole, as well as KYGO and Marshmello.
His new single “Childhood”, which showcases his trilingual skills as he infuses Arabic into the track, speaks about some of the childhood experiences and traumas that shaped him into the artist that he is today, with the sole purpose of advocating for strength, love and positivity in life.
As for where he wants to take his music to in 2021, Yelgo7 explains that he wants to incorporate more foreign languages into his songs, as well as explore more electronic music into his songwriting. According to the New York-based artist, “any beautiful beat needs a well written story to create something relatable and meaningful for myself and my global listeners“.
Speaking about “Childhood”, Yelgo7 says, “This song is a very personal story about my upbringing struggles and experiences that helped shape me into the artist I am today. It is meant to relate to the listeners’ struggles and inspire them to write/create in an effort to cope with their personal struggles and move forward“.
