Television icon Ellen DeGeneres (pictured) will return to host the Oscars® for a second time, producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced today. The Academy Awards® will be broadcast live on Oscar Sunday, March 2, 2014, on the ABC Television Network.

Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly helping bring a film adaptation of the 2007 BBC One series Jekyll to the Hollywood big screen. The comedian and talk show host is said to be producing the Lionsgate project alongside Jeff Kleeman, through their A Very Good Production company.

 

Jekyll is being written by Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry starred in originally by James Nesbitt, playing the character of Tom Jackman as the modern-day descendant of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde. The six episode serial followed Jackman as he fights against his dark side and protect his wife and two children.
