Emily James Tells A Tale Of New Love On Her New Single ‘Bird Of Prey’

On March 11, Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Emily James released her new single “Bird of Prey” along a fascinating music video.

For as long as she can remember, Emily James has always been enclosed by music. Her first old memories’ take their roots back to New York in her parents’ eclectic music collection.

Emily’s journey started in a small city not so far from New York by singing and playing piano, and by the age of ten, she was writing her own songs. Later in her early teen years, she rolled her first musical scenes in New York, then in Nashville.

She had the opportunity to launch her career with famous producers such as Ian Fitchuk and Jacquire King, and she has gained the reconnaissance as a skilful songwriter into several music genres.

Following Nashville, Emily changed the course to the west coast and decided to establish herself at LA. Now based in LA, the influence of the huge artists like Billy Joel and Stevie Wonder matched with folk music continue to build Emily’s story.

The 22 years artist has five EP in her history, with more than 40 million streams around the world.

Her new track “Bird Of Prey” introduces us again to Emily’s world, driven by vulnerable vocals featuring poetic lyricism that tell a tale of budding love and the hesitancy to let people come close.

The song comes with a music video directed by Kristen Brancaccio, and it gives you the feeling to be lost between reality and a dream.
