The remake of Ghostbusters has grabbed a lot of attention in the spotlight, as Paul Feig plans an all female cast for the remake. With all stars including Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon as the Ghostbusters themselves, Emma Stone has revealed her potential role to join the cast… and why she turned it down.
She tells the Wall Street Journal, “It just didn’t feel like the right time for me. A franchise is a big commitment – it’s a whole thing. I think maybe I need a minute before I dive back into that water”. With her Amazing Spiderman role in recent years, it appears Emma Stone wants to go back to her roots with her quick wit within romantic comedy, and none other than with Ryan Gosling for Lala Land. In recent weeks, Chris Hemsworth joined the cast for the Ghostbusters remake in an unknown role, the film is expected for release in 2016.
