Chet Baker was an American Jazz musician, playing the trumpet and flute as well as being a vocalist, most popular during the 1950s. Ethan Hawke (The Purge) is now set to play the famous musician in an up and coming biopic titled Born To Be Blue. With a life of drama, drugs, Jazz and liquor, it will be interesting to see how this colourful jazz star’s life will be played on the big screen. With director Robert Budreau, mostly known for his short films, taking the reigns on this biopic, it looks set to be a smash. Also starring Carmen Ejogo and Callum Keith Rennie, Born To Be Blue is expected to open in 2015.
