The latest single “Boys & Girls In Hell’s Kitchen” by New York-based artist Evan Crommett was released on January 24, 2020, featuring with Melbourne-born singer Hannah Adele Bailey. It will be part of his upcoming EP Craving Compassion Or Maybe Just A Baconeggandcheese set for release in May, 2020.
Discrete alternative indie rock artist Evan Crommett is a regular on the New York underground music scene. He often plays at the Rockwood Music Hall and the Pianos. He also recently joined Marlon Craft on SOBs, to perform the song they co-created, “Personal”.
Hannah Adele Bailey was born in Melbourne but now lives in New York. She studied at the National Theatre Drama School and the Victorian College Of The Arts., the artist then moved to the US to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Art and was also a member of the Academy’s company for one year. She has also acted in many short films.
Evan Crommet’s commitment is to record in his studio room, he wants to avoid the genre police and marry as much as possible a deeply serious music with a music that slaps. Before “Boys & Girls in Hell’s Kitchen” the artist made himself known with “Paperweight”, which was featured on many blogs such as Alexrainbird.
His next EP Craving Compassion or Maybe Just a Baconeggandcheese will be a New York meditation on love, youth, empathy. Its’ lead track “Boys & Girls In Hell’s Kitchen” is about the strange way rivalry and love intertwine between boys and girls. To help evoke this feeling, Hannah Adele Bailey has put her voice to the sound and created a beautiful soundscape.
