Six years is a long time for any band or artist to keep a hold on their fanbase – but supergroup Evanescence have definitely succeeded where others have failed before.
In 2011, Evanescence released their eponymous third studio album, which featured such gems as “What You Want” and “My Heart Is Broken”. It received overwhelmingly positive reviews, much like their previous albums – and then the band abruptly went on hiatus.
It was reportedly just a three year break, but Evanescence ended up staying away for a little over half a decade, and are now finally back with a brand new single called “Imperfection”.
It features on what will be their fourth studio album, Synthesis, to be released on 10th November.
