In 1955 Dementia, a horror flick about the manifestation of madness and violent behaviour, was released. Clips from this film make up Faith No More‘s latest music video for “Separation Anxiety”. Mike Patton‘s ominous whispers coupled with the quick strums of the guitar encourage a fear that gradually creeps up on you.

 

The music fits well with the film, especially when the main character is running and eventually cornered towards the end. The narrator from the original film concludes the clip with: “Only a dream. A dream of madness on a dark night. …Or was it?”
