Aparecium! Admittedly, it isn’t NEARLY as exciting as trailers are anticipated to be. However, the fifteen second teaser announcement has confirmed that the first and official trailer for Warner Bros’ upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be released December 15, 2015, despite the film still being in production. The exciting teaser features the iconic smoke filled background and striking silver letters, a title sequence we have all seen previously in the Harry Potter film series, based off of J.K Rowling’s wizarding novels.
Set in 1926, seventy years before Harry’s story begins, the movie follows protagonist Newt (Eddie Redmayne) throughout his adventures in New York City, where he’s aspiring to study the abundance of magical creatures within the wizarding world. His research is eventually published into a book, which becomes a renowned piece at Hogwarts. However, expect Newt to face some problems along the way, particularly ones involving a muggle named Jacob…
Alongside Redmayne, the film will also star Katherine Waterston (Tina Goldstein), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski) and Samantha Morton (Mary Lou). The movie is currently due for release November 18, 2016, so get your galleons ready! See the trailer announcement below:
