felte & Part Time Punks, both based out of Los Angeles, continue their collaboration at SXSW 2017 for the second year with an even deeper lineup that continues to highlight LA based acts, along with international acts that mixes both presenter’s tastes.
Genres include post-punk, punk, no wave, minimal synth, new wave, krautrock, synth, industrial, darkwave, electronic, shoegaze, indie pop and grunge.
Part Time Punks is the name of both the award-winning radio show on KXLU 88.9FM (every Thursday afternoon for 11 years) and the seminal club night at The Echo in Los Angeles (every Sunday night for 12 years). felte is an independent record label whose aesthetic gravitates towards “moody, atmospheric, and texturally dynamic sounds and imagery”.
