“Three Oh Nine” is the new single from the Bristol folk singer-songwriter Fenne Lily. The track follows the release of singles “Bud” and “What’s Good”. The singer has consistently been performing “Three Oh Nine” in her live shows but only a few months ago decided to record a studio version of the song.
“Three Oh Nine” is an emotional song, combining Lily’s expressive and warm voice with an acoustic guitar to create a romantic and relaxed atmosphere. These elements are supported with glistening production, bass and percussion.
Speaking about the track the singer said: “The band element in “Three Oh Nine” came from it being written when I was feeling small, so I knew it needed to be recorded big”, explains Lily. “I wanted to sound less alone”.
Fenne Lily has recently been playing with Lucy Rose, Aldous Harding and Oliver Wilde. She will play Cecil Sharp House in London on October, 12 so be sure to get your tickets soon.
