Fetty Wap has been arrested in Las Vegas on Sunday morning for allegedly attacking three hotel employees.
According to a report by the Associated Press and TMZ, the New Jersey rapper was held by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on three counts of battery. He allegedly assaulted three employees at the Mirage Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas strip.
Local news say Fetty Wap hit a parking attendant after getting into a verbal dispute. Originally, police claimed the rapper punched one employee, but later they said he had “committed a battery” on three employees.
The “Trap Queen” rapper has been released after spending several hours in custody. According to KTNV, he will have to appear in court in October facing three misdemeanour counts of battery.
Fetty Wap, whose real name is Willie Maxwell, was previously arrested and charged with driving under the influence in November 2017, after he was caught drag racing another driver on a New York City highway.
Last week, Fetty Wap performed at the MTV Video Music Awards along with other New Jersey artists, including Wyclef Jean and Queen Latifah. Earlier this month, he released a music video for the song “Zoo” featuring Tee Grizzley.
