Fetty Wap visits his original high school to film his new music video “Wake Up”.
The video directed by Alan Del Rio Ortiz is set at his alma mater, Eastside High School in Paterson, New Jersey, which also inspired the film Lean On Me. It features him reminiscing about his school days, with a stripper, alcohol and drugs thrown in for good measure, with partly-animated clips.
Fetty tries to encourage his fans with the video to “celebrate everyday, roll something up, and define your own path” as he was “a nobody, high school dropout now known worldwide as Fetty Wap”.
