Charlie Brooker‘s Sci-Fi anthology Black Mirror is returning, but this time it will be as a Netflix original series and will contain 12 episodes as opposed to the usual 3 per season. So far it’s been confirmed that actresses Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Belle, Dr. Who) and Mackenzie Davis (The Martian, Halt and Catch Fire) will star in the first episode of the upcoming season but no other casting choices have been announced.
Though there’s very little information at the moment, we know that production of the series has already begun and will be directed by Owen Harris (Kill Your Friends), with Brooker as executive producer. A premiere date for the new season is yet to be announced.
