The first images of Bradley Cooper as US Navy Seal Chris Kyle in up and coming movie American Sniper have arrived. Directed by Clint Eastwood and written by Jason Dean Hall, American Sniper is the adaptation of US Navy Seal Chris Kyle’s autobiography. With the original autobiography title written as American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in US Military History, it’s not difficult to imagine what kind of movie we’ll be getting and knowing Eastwood, it’s set to be not only action packed but a stylistic triumph also.
The narrative itself will deal with Kyle’s stints in the field of action but also the emotional turmoil that comes with such a job. Cooper will also get to grips with the personal struggles that Kyle and his family go through at home as his juxtaposing identities, from family man to expect executor, collide. Co-staring Sienna Miller, Jake McDorman and Kyle Gallner, American Sniper gets it’s UK release on January 16, 2015.
