Jodie Foster has spent the last few years behind the camera. One of her last projects being the episode Arkangel from the TV series Black Mirror. Now she comes back in front of the camera for the star-studded thriller Hotel Artemis.
The film takes place in 2028 LA. The city is torn by riots and in-between it all is ‘The Nurse’ played by Foster. She runs an underground members-only hospital for criminals but despite the clientele, it has very strict rules. When a patient steals something far too valuable, she gets a visit from Jeff Goldblum‘s crime boss character and let’s just say, he doesn’t care about the rules.
The cast is completed by Sterling K. Brown, Brian Tyree Henry, Dave Bautista, Charlie Day, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, and Sofia Boutella. The film will hit the theaters on June 8.
