The emerging folk duo Flora Falls have recently unveiled their delicate debut single “Wake Up”, unveiling their first touching release together after one year of collaboration.
Based in Berlin, Flora Falls is the musical project are comprised of two of the German city’s established songwriters Brea Robertson, from Australia, and Dominique Fricot, from Canada. The two artists met in early 2019 when they shared a stage and they wrote “Wake Up” during their very first songwriting session together.
After they premiered their first single as a duo, the singer, songwriter and producer Lucas Laufen approached them and he eventually recorded and produced the track with them. About the talented duo, Laufen stated: “Flora Falls surprised me immensely. There’s very few times that I’ve heard such a comfortable connection between a duo”.
Featuring engaging piano beats, clean guitar, delicate melodies and powerful vocals, “Wake Up” leads the listeners on a journey exploring memory, love and longing, as this emotional single’s meaningful lyrics are set to capture your heart straight away.
Flora Falls had to cancel their upcoming planned shows to promote their first release ever, but fortunately, you can still listen to this impressively touching single since it is now out on all platforms!
