Nate Mendel, bassist for Foo Fighters and Sunny Day Real Estate, has announced details of his new project, Lieutenant. Lieutenant will be releasing their debut album If I Kill This Thing We’re All Going To Eat For A Week in March. You can pre-order the record on iTunes here, and check out the vinyl and merch packages on Dine Alone Records here. The record was recorded between Foo Fighters’ tour dates last year. It features a guest list, including Page Hamilton (Helmet), Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters), and Jeremy Enigk (Sunny Day Real Estate). You can stream a new track from Lieutenant, “Belle Epoque”, below.
